The second group of the event featured the reigning The International champions OG, EHOME, recently rising in the Chinese rankings, Playmakers Esports, coming from the South American region, and BOOM ID, debuting at the biggest stage after getting through the qualifiers in Southeast Asia.

EHOME, expectedly for the most, took the first place in the group with relative ease, not dropping a single map, while Playmakers Esports, unfortunately, did not win a map and will have to start in the lower bracket tomorrow. OG and BOOM ID faced off twice and both series went a similar way, as the first games were much closer than the second ones, but the European team won each of the meetings and is going to the upper bracket to start in the playoffs tomorrow.
