Jonathan “Loda” Berg resigned from the Alliance and took a break in his career until the end of the season. This was announced by the Swedish organization on the official website. Instead of Berg for the team will play Adrian “Era” Cresiu, the last team of which were Ninjas in Pajamas.

Loda comment:

It was not an easy decision, and I know that many of you will be disappointed. But this is the right decision. In the interview, I repeatedly said that I want to try new players. It’s not my team anymore, now the guys are left to themselves. They are strong. And although I chose the worst possible time, it would be better if nothing happened. I urge you to root for the guys in the open qualifiers for TI. I’m going to rest and concentrate on myself. Maybe I’ll start to conquer RMM ^^. In order to play better, I must give up my current duties. Until the end of TI, I will leave the stage, and then, most likely, will return to the structure of Aliiance. As a founding father, I will stay in the organization and enjoy the games from the outside. I’ll be back.

Jonathan “Loda” Berg was the last player of the original roster of The Alliance, which was the first on The International 2013. In the organization, in addition to TI3, Berg won the G-1 Champions League Season 5, several DreamHack series, World Cyber Arena 2015 and StarLadder i -League StarSeries Season 1. In the current season, the Alliance was able to win only the online tournament WellPlay Invitational # 6. The team could not be selected for the Boston and Kiev “majors”. Loda remained in the Alliance structure, since along with Joakim “Akke” Akterall is co-owner of the organization.

With the transfer of Adrian “Era” Cresiu team lost the chance to invite to the closed qualifiers for The International 2017: the team will participate in open qualification.

The Alliance team:

  • Adrian “Era” Cresiou
  • Simon “Handsken” Haag
  • Linus “Limmp” Blomdin
  • Jonas “jonassomfan” Lindholm
  • Axel “Pablo” Kalman
